My mother resides in Florida. Land of palm trees, blue waters, resorts, and the pink flamingo yard art. So while researching some new ideas for Halloween this year, I stumbled across these hilariously cool Halloween flamingos that I am more then tempted to purchase for my mother. Not only because they make me smile but they are completely affordable at $15.95 for 2 on Amazon.

Whether you are a tea drinker or avid coffee lover, these mugs simply make me smile every time I see them.
What do you need today? Creativitea? Simplicitea? Prosperotea? These mugs not only offer up some form of inspiration but they also provide you with the definition on the inside rim; just in case you needed a little extra help that day!

Etsy now has so many creative people using it that I can spend an entire day just jumping from one person’s store to the next and simply get lost in the labarynth that is Etsy.com. Here are a set of hand painted vintage mugs by Trixie Delicious that really make me wonder who would I give these to?

I cook for two which is just about as hard as it was to cook for one when I was single. So using large pans to make extra large dishes means leftovers for days if not a week plus. Since my husband and I both lose interest in a leftover after 24 hours, those giant tupperware containers merely hog up space in my fridge. That is why I found these Circulon pans to be so refreshing. They allow you to make smaller portions that not only cater to the small family but also to a smaller waist.

I am always on the lookout for the great picnic basket of the century. One that will blow me away with color, design, adaptability, storage, and more. As I find ones I like, I tear them out of magazines and keep them in a binder hoping to one day be able to afford to purchase one or give in and build one myself. Something tells me that it will be the latter.
The odd thing about me wanting a picnic basket so bad is that my husband and I never picnic. Maybe that is because I am lacking that oh so perfect basket or he works too much for us to find the time. I would like to think that if I had this magical basket, we would escape away on a sunny afternoon to one of our beautiful Savannah squares, kick off our shoes, and sit down for an afternoon picnic. Doesn’t that sound good?
Anyway, here is my latest picnic basket/ back pack find for the exagerrated price tag of $150.00!

Archie McPhee has been selling entertaining gifts for years so I wasn’t surprised to visit their site and find some humorous prizes for my Halloween party this year. After all, where else can I buy pirate gum, cigarettes, playing cards, bandages, and a lunch box in one stop?
To give you a good idea of what to expect, here is the ‘What’s for lunch?’ spin wheel that would make an excellent affordable gift for the coworker in the cube next you.

Everyone does it. Whether we are single or married, have pets or none…we all display photos throughout our homes of friends and family. Here is an interesting way to showcase your fav pics with some character.

Digital pictures can be sent in and made into a paint by numbers canvas for you and your loved ones to paint yourselves. So they not only give you a work of art but a fun project you can do together.
