Identity Mugs

Tuesday, July 28th, 2009

Whether you are a tea drinker or avid coffee lover, these mugs simply make me smile every time I see them. :)

What do you need today? Creativitea? Simplicitea? Prosperotea? These mugs not only offer up some form of inspiration but they also provide you with the definition on the inside rim; just in case you needed a little extra help that day!

Tea Talk Mugs

Etsy now has so many creative people using it that I can spend an entire day just jumping from one person’s store to the next and simply get lost in the labarynth that is Etsy.com. Here are a set of hand painted vintage mugs by Trixie Delicious that really make me wonder who would I give these to?

Mondegreens

Saturday, July 11th, 2009

My husband is the king of Mondegreens (the official term for misheard phrases or lyrics), especially lyrics in his case.  Every time a sone comes on that he loves, I sit back quietly, eagerly anticipating what amalgam of words he is going to spew. Most people would replace unknown phrases with a mish-mosh of words but not my man. He substititutes phrases like ‘A psychophant with my ladder’ in place of ‘I signal them with my lighter’. Now that’s what I call an educated guess!

Make-shift grandfather clock

Friday, July 10th, 2009

I already bought a true grandfather clock for my hubby last year. After all, he has always wanted to own one and I must admit, I like the chiming sound. It’s kind of like having a sophisticated cuckoo clock in the hall.

However, I found these creative decals on-line and am now eager to transform my office space and use one of them to showcase my more whimsical side. Plus, for $37.00, you just can’t beat it!
