If anyone out there has a husband/ wife/ partner like mine, these silicone pot clips will help keep the counter clear of dirty spoons and spatulas… therefore cutting down on the multiple clean ups during the cooking experience. For less than $8 per clip, my husband will be able to keep my counters free and clear of splatter which makes me very happy! Check these nifty clips out here.
I knew someone would come up with this one day, just didn’t imagine the goggles would look so trendy. Guess I had it in my head that they would look more like the safety goggles I sport while using a chain saw. Either way, Sur La Table also sells Onion Goggles to keep you from sobbing away while prepping dinner. For $22.00 a pop, I think I would rather just chill the onion for 15 minutes and slice tear Free!

I found something that not only appeals to the puzzlemaster inside me BUT it also caters to the obsessive compulsive side of me that locks doors all the time. ThinkGeek has done it again with this great $50 lock that will surely find its way to my Christmas list!

makes awesome furniture(beds, couches, chairs…) out of old cars. The pink one is the 1960 Chevy Impala Bed with working headlights and a hood that opens for bedding storage in engine compartment. Very cooladdition to your home if you can afford the overhaul!

For those of you who live in Savannah and those who are thinking of visiting, here is a tip on one of the coolest things to do in town: The 700 Kitchen! This is an educational (don’t let that scare you!) and fun hands-on class with Chef Darin Sehnert. Darin must be the most charismatic, witty, and knowledgeable chefs I have ever met. During the class you learn not only how to prepare the menu but Darin specializes in his ability to teach you tips and tricks in the kitchen. Things you think you’ve known your whole life how to do, Chef Darin will show you how you’ve done them wrong or how to perform them better! So if you’re ever walking through Forsyth Park and wondering what to do that night, walk over to the the Mansion on the Park and sign up for this class! It will be worth every penny!

Yep, that’s right folks…I have another stray that needs a home. This time a neglected 7 week old Chow mix found her way to my door. Belle (her current nickname) was in desperate need of some good meals, clean water, antibiotics, and a warm bed. So here she is being nursed back to health and looking cuter than ever! If anyone knows someone looking for a puppy, let me know!
